One Hope

Ephesians 4:4 tells us that we are gathered in one hope of our calling.
ONE Hope! Not two or three, but one.

1Peter 3:15 tells us to be ready to give a reason for that hope.

Titus 2:13 plainly tells us what that hope is associated with - the second coming of Christ.
While we wait for that blessed hope ~~ the glorious appearing of our great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ.

In Acts 23:6 Luke tells us,
…and Paul having known that the one part are Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, cried out in the sanhedrim, `Men, brethren, I am a Pharisee--son of a Pharisee--concerning hope and rising again of dead men I am judged.'

And in 24:15 Paul says, “…having hope toward God, which they themselves also wait for, that there is about to be a rising again of the dead, both of righteous and unrighteous;

In Romans 8:20-23 Paul says this hope is the redemption of his body.

In 1 Corinthians 15 Paul speaks of Christ’s resurrection and again makes reference to this hope, the resurrection of the dead.

In Colossians 1:5 Paul says this hope is laid up for us in heaven but we see from 1Thesalonians 2:19 that it will be delivered to us when Christ returns and raises the dead.
“For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?”

In Titus 1:2 this hope is said to be eternal life. We do not have it now. We will have it when Christ returns and God raises the dead.

In Peter 1:3 Peter tells us
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
And in verse 5 tells us this hope will be revealed to us in the last time.

Finally, in 1 John 3:2-3 John confirms that,
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Yes, this is the hope we should have, the coming of Christ, the resurrection of the dead, when we shall meet Him in the air and so ever be with Him.
